WURGLER

Pictures, records, & the systems nobody else will touch.

Most of it I led — none of it alone. Records with my brothers, rebuilds with people I trust, and a camera for everything in between.

Shot in 4:3.

Shot on a Canon EOS M. The vignette and the grain are on purpose — I checked twice.

II — Music / My Brothers And I

I write and produce.

Some of it has ended up on television, which still reads to me like a clerical error someone hasn’t caught yet.

III — Work / Systems & Identity

Things I’ve built.

The part that pays the mortgage. Plain version: I take companies running on spreadsheets and duct tape and quietly turn them into something that works.

NWR — Brand & Identity

A full identity system for a Pacific Northwest ITAD company that buys and sells networking hardware. The Roboto Mono wordmark blinks like a live terminal — fitting, for a business built on the machines — over a palette pulled from river water, smoked salmon, and silt, with the type and usage rules to hold it together.

Back-Office Rebuild

Migrated a company off QuickBooks onto a real ERP, wired up tax compliance across nine states, rolled out device management for the whole team. This is load-bearing work — the kind a company quietly leans on — and I want more weight, not less.

IV — About

The same instinct that mixes a record cleans up a database: find the mess, figure out what it’s supposed to sound like, take everything else away.

I’m David. I live in Salem, Oregon, where I take photographs, make records with my brothers, and spend my days rebuilding how businesses actually run.

None of those things are supposed to go together, which is sort of the point. If you’ve got a system held together with spreadsheets, a song that needs producing, or a wall that needs a print on it — that’s the whole range.
